PC Nap INHIB 50

Is a true Calcium Naphthenate (including Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium) inhibitor, for crude oils in upstream and downstream processes. It will inhibit the formation of gum forming Naphthenates from Naphthenic acids in crude oil production and inhibit soaps of alkali and alkaline earth metals, organic scales in refinery heat exchangers.

PC Nap INHIB 50 will prevent the formation of naphthenate soaps in the crude oil process and thus mitigate the considerable problem of the calcium soaps, gumming effect associated with naphthenate soaps. Also incorporated in this formulation are dispersants, which will disperse the naphthenate soaps inherent in crude oils from the formation from agglomerating, acting thus as anti-agglomerants, anti micelle additive for Naphthenate soaps and solids in separators and storage tanks.

This Naphthenate soaps inhibitor will stop the formation of organic soaps and scale due to Naphthenic acids in heat exchangers. It’s a Naphthenic acids inhibitor for heat exchangers.

PC Nap Inhib 12

PC Nap Inhib 12 inhibits the formation of naphthenate deposits and naphthenic acids. In doing so the TAN value of the crude is reduced considerably resulting in a more valuable crude. High TAN crudes are sometimes penalised as some refineries do not want these types of crudes as there is usually considerably more fouling within the refinery process. It is recommended to be injected as far upstream as possible.  Sometimes this is not possible and we have therefore added dispersants to prevent already precipitated deposits from conglomerating. This is a unique formulation, which in some case drop the TAN value by 60%.
