PC INHIB 80

A true Asphaltene inhibitor, for crude oils in production, or upstream processing units, sales crude to storage and crude oil streams to pre heat exchangers and desalters in the refineries and bottom ends thereof.

In addition it contains an anti-agglomerant,anti-micelle agent, which controls and prevents the particles of the asphaltenes from growing into larger particles. It will inhibit some of the reactions leading to cross-linking of asphaltenes then to the deposit control in the above processes. Interactions of the different types of asphaltenes and asphaltenic acids in crude oil production are minimized by PC Inhib 80 to prevent organic scales in refinery heat exchangers.

PC Inhib 80 can enhance desalting by controlling asphaltenes in emulsified soaps and naphthenic acids at the interface in desalters, and contains a booster for high temperatures.
